Welcome to ACT Youth Theatre

ACT Youth Theatre is creative place where young people can explore the world of theatre. Based in Carlisle (Currock Community Centre) and Penrith (Penrith Rugby Club), we run classes for children aged 4-18 focusing on various aspects of performing arts.

"From Contemporary to Musical Theatre, our lessons cover a diverse range of styles.​ Our ACTors will learn how to use and shape their bodies, as well as strengthen posture and improve co-ordination"

Each year we stage two shows; a full scale Musical Theatre production in Summer and a Christmas ACTstravagansa. These productions give students opportunity to experience performing in a theatre environment, gaining knowledge and understanding of how a show is put together.
